“Chef Monique & her team catered a stunning dinner to kick off our 2017 Manager’s Retreat. Our team consisted of a full spectrum of appetites – hungry construction guys through to ladies with small appetites. With over 20 people to cater to Chef had her work cut out for her!
Leading up to the event, Chef kept in touch with me and was specific about what she needed from me to ensure the event was a success. Her team arrived on time and took over the kitchen in the lodge we had rented. They prepared scrumptious charcuterie and imported cheeses to snack on while we sniffed the delights from the kitchen.

Our mains were served buffet style and both meats (rib-eye and pork) was cooked to absolute perfection – even the master grillers in our crew commented on how good it was!
The dessert of molten chocolate cake was divine and a hit with absolutely everyone.

The best part was after dinner, Chef and her team cleared the tables, cleaned the kitchen, stacked and ran the dishwasher – all while our team relaxed and raved about the meal we were served.
I can’t recommend Chef Monique and her team enough – next time we will be sure to reach out to them. If you are looking for a highly qualified Chef who will go out of her way to ensure your event is a success (for everyone!), stop right here. You’ve found her.”

To begin – as a busy professional in Seattle, scheduling with me can be difficult. Chef Monique was prompt, professional, and organized during every planning call we had to discuss my husband’s surprise 30th birthday destination celebration. I very much appreciated that scheduling and communication were almost effortless on my part throughout the process!

The planning – I felt like Chef Monique became a friend during our discussions around my husband’s likes, dislikes, herbs, flavors, meats, vegetables, whiskeys and wines to really get a sense for what I was looking for and how I wanted to go about perfectly executing our event for my VERY particular husband with extremely specific preferences! Chef Monique created the absolute perfect menu with recommended pairings for each of our courses and even located the alcohol selections at a store near my home for ease of ordering and pickup – major time saver for me to not have to search for these on my own!

The details – due to my desired ‘getaway’ destination of Eastern Washington, we weren’t sure whether the rental supplies would achieve the look and feel of the evening. Chef Monique coordinate the rentals of the appropriate dishware, linens, and detailed look without me having to lift a finger!

The event – WOW, and I mean, WOW! My husband, the one with the particular preferences who is often hard to impress due to his level of attention to detail was speechless when he walked into discover the surprise dinner and table set for our dinner party. Each course continued to improve upon the previous, and every dish was not only beautiful in presentation, but the flavor profiles were impeccably executed! The support staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive into our event, Chef Monique explained the details of each dish presented, and my party of ‘foodies’ who have experienced international and local renowned cuisine left saying this was the best meal they’ve EVER had!

We cannot wait to hire Chef Monique and her team at Crave Catering for another event very soon!”

Besides moving furniture, hanging lights, setting up beverage stations and decorating the space, I had the rehearsal to attend. Chef Monique and her team walked in, to what seemed like chaos, prepared and presented a beautiful buffet!
